This package includes 5 night in Premier accommodation at the Valbruna Inn for 2 or 4 people, (see note below), full European breakfast included, 3 dining experiences, one each in Austria, Slovenia and Italy, a guided tour through the trenches and fortifications on the Austro-Hungarian front line in World War I, a guided visit and wine tasting at a local winery, a visit and tasting menu at a local prosciutto maker in S. Daniele del Friuli, the capital of prosciutto in Northern Italy and other local tours/experiences (guided tours and experiences may vary depending on season). Valbruna is located in the northeastern corner of Italy, an easy 2-hour drive from the Venice International Airport and Venice itself, just a few miles away from both Austria and Slovenia. The Valbruna Inn is a 5-heart B&B&B (bed & breakfast, books, beer & bikes) owned by Amy and Marco Tonazzi. The Inn is located in the center of the small village, features 13 rooms, a sauna & wellness area, a full bar and its own library. Valbruna is an ideal location for day-trip excursions to nearby Slovenia (lake Bled, Slovenia’s capital Lubiana, Austria’s lake region, and the region of Friuli, with medieval towns, Roman ruins, wineries and the Adriatic Sea.
